"Through our active participation, we have spearheaded the international development of RFID in the last 2 years and have developed the most up-to-date know-how."

Radio Frequency Identification technology enables wireless identification, reporting and tracking of cargo carriers.

An RFID system consists of a transponder (tag) that is located on an object, and a reading device (reader) for reading the data. The transponders have memory in which product information can be stored. RFID use is commonplace for access control, in the clothing industry or as a theft deterrent in retail operations.

The identification of transport aids such as pallets in this manner is increasingly used in industry and commerce. The development of customized transponders with our technology partners is the basis for the introduction of RFID and the development of solutions for the construction of an individual RFID infrastructure.

It all adds up to bringing us closer to our final goal: Intelligent load carriers.
